Control screens

Not one switch for everything. Each device type gets the control it needs, sized for a fingertip, and the crown turns what you are looking at.

Your watch, inside Home Assistant.

Steps, heart rate, SpO2, sleep, stress, temperature and more can arrive in Home Assistant as ordinary sensor entities, ready for your automations. It is off until you turn it on, and you pick exactly which readings are sent.

They arrive through Home Assistant’s own Mobile App integration, as one device with its sensors.

How it works

    At home AmazHA uses your local address. Away, it switches to your remote one on its own: Home Assistant Cloud, a VPN, or your own domain.

    The watch receives only what it shows, over the Bluetooth link it already has with your phone. Your token is never sent to it.

FAQ

Good questions.

Do I need my phone nearby?

Yes. The watch reaches Home Assistant through the Zepp app on your phone, over Bluetooth, and your phone has to be able to reach your server: on your home network, or through a remote address.

Which watches does AmazHA run on?

25 Amazfit models with Zepp OS, square and round, including the GTS 4, GTR 4, Bip 6, Bip Max and the Active, Balance, Cheetah and T-Rex lines. The Active Edge, Bip 5 and T-Rex 2 are not supported.

Is it really free?

The app is free and opens on a complete demo home, so you can try every screen before paying anything. Connecting it to your own Home Assistant is a one-time unlock: no subscription, no ads, no trial that expires.

What do I need to connect my Home Assistant?

A Home Assistant server your phone can reach, and a long-lived access token created by an administrator account. You enter both once, in the AmazHA settings inside the Zepp app.

Why does the token have to come from an admin account?

AmazHA reads your areas through Home Assistant’s template API, which Home Assistant reserves for administrators. With a token from a regular user the connection test passes but the watch cannot load your rooms, and AmazHA tells you exactly that.

Does it work away from home?

Yes, as long as Home Assistant is reachable from outside: Home Assistant Cloud, a VPN, or your own domain. Add a remote address next to the local one and AmazHA picks the right one automatically.

Can AmazHA send my watch’s data to Home Assistant?

Yes, if you want it to. Heart rate, steps, SpO2, sleep and more arrive as sensor entities through Home Assistant’s Mobile App integration. It is off by default, and every reading is opt-in.

What happens to my data?

AmazHA has no accounts, no analytics and no developer server. Your address, your token and the names of your rooms and devices stay on your phone.

Is there a version for Wear OS?

It is in development. For now AmazHA is for Amazfit watches with Zepp OS.
